exposed skin care

Lot of factors to cause acne!

My experience:
During my adolescence, I had suffered acne for more than four years. I tried every possible solution to my skin, but none of them worked for me. I felt helpless when one or the other medication failed to maintain sustaining effect on the skin. Therefore, I searched for the possible causes of acne appearance and recurrence. Here is some relevant information which may help acne sufferers in their struggle for freedom from acne.

Bacteria:
Most of the products I used were able to sweep out bacteria from skin surface but none of them had inside influence. An ample amount of bacteria get settled into pores and help the other friendly elements to clog and choke the pores. And despite use of medicated products, their status quo remained and consequently acne progressed.

Dirt, Toxins, and Excess oil:
The three factors contributing to clogging of pores are dirt, toxins and excess oil (oily substance, sebum). These together appear as leading cause for acne survival.

Dirt gets precipitated on the exposed skin from the outside environment and participates in clogging. For this, you may need to wash your face and expose skin three-four times a day (not necessarily with soap or face wash).

Mycotoxins is one of the microscopic toxins found in every possible place. These belong to fungus family and may get ingested in the body through any food stuff. Liver is unable to deal with these toxins and hence are secreted out at skin surface.

Oil
Oily substance sebum is secreted from sebaceous glands available in every part of the body except palm skin, sole skin of the foot and some other places. The excess secretion of sebum leads to plugging of skin and later clogging of pores. A mild cleanser, if used twice daily may remove this oil from the skin.

Fast
A weekly fast may help your body to recycle the whole system and deal with toxins in an effective way.
